Kinse reminder calls are short phone calls at the times you set. Medication is the main use. Cora names the medicine and the dose and asks whether your loved one took it. Your summary shows taken, missed, refused, or unclear. If a medicine is missed or refused, you get an alert. You can also schedule other short reminder calls for breakfast, lunch, dinner, hydration, bedtime, or exercise. Those use the same call minutes as medication reminder calls, 150, 220, or 280 call minutes a month by plan. Works with any phone, even a landline. Kinse does not prescribe, change, or recommend doses.

How medication reminders work

  1. What these calls cover

    These calls cover medication first. You can also schedule short reminder calls for breakfast, lunch, dinner, hydration, bedtime, or exercise. They use the same call minutes as medication reminder calls (150, 220, or 280 call minutes a month by plan).

  2. You set the times

    Enter the medication name and times. When it is due, Kinse calls your loved one. As-needed medicines stay on the list. They do not get a reminder call.

  3. Cora asks out loud

    Cora names the medicine and asks if your loved one took it. The summary can show taken, missed, refused, or unclear. Nothing is guessed.

  4. Missed or refused sends an alert

    A missed or refused medicine sends an alert in the Kinse app, and by email to care team members who turn alerts on. You decide whether to call your loved one. Kinse is not an emergency service.

Essentials is $29 a month per person, with 150 call minutes a month, about 35 a week. Everyday is $44 a month per person, with 220 call minutes, about 50 a week. Family is $54 a month per person, with 280 call minutes, about 65 a week. Medication and other short reminder calls use the same minutes. Limits

  • Medication reminder calls last up to 2 minutes.
  • Kinse does not prescribe, change, or recommend doses.
  • You enter names, doses, and times. Decisions stay with clinicians and the family.
  • A missed answer is a record, not a diagnosis.

How do the reminders work?
Kinse calls at each scheduled dose, names the medication, and asks if your loved one took it. The summary shows taken, missed, refused, or unclear. If a medicine is missed or refused, you get an alert. The summary shows only the answer they gave.
What other reminder calls can I schedule?
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, hydration, bedtime, and exercise. Those short calls use the same call minutes as medication reminder calls.
Can Kinse change a prescription?
No. Kinse does not change a prescription or a dose. The call only asks whether the scheduled medicine was taken. A clinician or pharmacy still owns the prescription.
Are as-needed medications called?
No. As-needed medications stay on the list so you can see them. Kinse does not place that call. Only scheduled doses get a reminder.
How many reminder calls do I get?
