Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Kinse is month-to-month or annual per person. Cancel from Billing in the app; access continues through the period you already paid for.
Will my loved one actually pick up the phone?
Kinse calls from a consistent outbound number at the times you set. Many families start with medication reminders at dose time (short, familiar calls) and add wellness check-ins on a weekly rhythm. If someone does not answer, Kinse logs the attempt and can alert your care team based on your notification settings.
Does my loved one need a smartphone or an app?
No. They answer a regular phone call. You manage schedules, medications, and your care circle from the Kinse dashboard on your phone or computer.
What happens if Kinse cannot reach them?
Missed calls are recorded on your dashboard and Timeline. Depending on your settings, caregivers can receive email or in-app alerts so you can follow up.
Is our family information private?
Your dashboard and call summaries are for your care circle only. See our Security page for how Kinse handles data and access controls.
How is this different from calling them myself?
Kinse shows up on schedule when you cannot: medication confirmations are logged automatically, missed doses surface on your dashboard, and multiple family members stay aligned without a group text thread. Cora remembers past conversations so check-ins feel continuous, not scripted.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can use Kinse for 14 days for free. Sign up without a credit card. When you are ready to continue after the trial, add payment in billing. Membership then continues at the per-person price and schedule you pick (monthly or yearly).
What happens when the trial ends?
When the 14-day trial ends, outbound calls pause until you add a card in billing and choose monthly or yearly per person. Your schedules, medications, and care circle stay saved in Kinse.
When is my card charged?
You are not charged for membership until you add a card in billing and the 14-day free trial has ended. You will see the exact amount and next bill date in the app before you confirm.
Can I pay monthly or yearly?
Kinse has one membership billed per person. You choose monthly ($34.95/person) or yearly ($349.50/person). Yearly billing saves versus paying month by month for a full year.
How does per-person pricing work?
Each person on Kinse, yourself or a loved one, is billed at the same per-person rate ($34.95/month or $349.50/year). Add people as your household grows, up to 5 per account. Care circle invites on the Team page are helpers, not additional billed seats.
How do I change from monthly to yearly (or the reverse)?
After you have an account, you can update billing in the app under Billing, subject to the terms shown at checkout.
