Ruth, a client in her eighties, answering a check-in call on her corded landline in her armchair at home

Good morning, Ruth.

This is Cora. How did you sleep?

At a glance

The client's phone

Works with any phone, even a landline.

One summary per person

Last contact, medication answers, and open alerts.

Staff decide the next step

Alerts go to the staff on the case, and they choose what happens next.

What staff open

  1. The client

Check-in conversations and medication reminders go out at the client's local time. A check-in is up to 10 minutes, one question at a time.

  2. The overview

Each client has last contact, how it went, medication answers, and alerts. Staff see the clients assigned to them.

  3. The alert

If nobody picks up, or a medicine is missed or refused, the staff on that client's case get an alert.

Organization plans start at 6 people, at $44 a person a month. The price steps down as you add people, to $35 for each person from the 25th. You pay for the people Kinse calls, not for the staff who read. Talk to us

For your staff

One short summary for every client.

Clients who need follow-up sit at the top: no answer this morning, or a missed medicine. For everyone else, staff see the last check-in and how each medicine was answered, and they choose what happens next.

Staff caseload for today: two clients need follow-up, one with no answer at 9:00 AM and one with a missed 8:00 AM medication, above four clients with nothing to follow up: two check-ins done, one medication taken, and one call later today

Common questions

What is Kinse for care organizations?
Scheduled phone check-ins and medication reminders between visits. Clients answer on any phone, even a landline. Staff see short summaries, medication answers, and alerts. The client does not install an app.
Is this a different product from the family summaries?
No. It is the same call and the same short summary, read by staff on a caseload instead of by a family. Clients still answer any phone, even a landline.
How does billing work?
Organization plans start at 6 people, at $44 a person a month. The price steps down as you add people, to $35 for each person from the 25th. You pay for the people Kinse calls, not for the staff who read the summaries.
Can family see the summary?
Not yet. On an organization plan, summaries and alerts go to your staff. Tell us if family access matters for your program.
Do clients need a smartphone?
No. Kinse works with any phone, even a landline. The client answers like any other phone call. There is no app to install on their side.
Does Kinse replace a visit or 911?
No. If Cora cannot reach a client, or a medicine is missed or refused, staff get an alert and decide the next step. Kinse does not replace a visit or 911.
