One care team for family, neighbors, and aides

Kinse calls your loved one for check-ins and medication reminders. Everyone you invite reads the same summary, and you choose who can only read and who can change call times or medications.

Kinse for families is shared check-in conversations and medication reminders for family, neighbors, aides, and other helpers. A check-in is a phone conversation with Cora, up to 10 minutes. It works with any phone, even a landline, with no app for your loved one. The care team sees one summary, medication answers, and alerts, and each person gets the access you choose. Kinse is not 911.

How a family uses it

  1. The same summary

After Kinse calls your loved one, the care team opens one summary.

  2. Who can change what

You choose who can only read, who can update, and who can change schedules and medications. You can invite up to 3, 5, or 10 people, depending on the plan.

  3. Who gets alerts

If a check-in goes unanswered, or a medicine is missed or refused, the people you name get an alert.

Plans start at $29 a month for each person Kinse calls. Check-in calls and medication reminder calls use the same call minutes. Every plan covers check-ins, reminders, or both. See pricing

Common questions

What is Kinse for families?
A shared account for family, neighbors, aides, and other helpers. Kinse makes the check-in calls and medication reminder calls. The care team reads one short summary. Inviting people to read or help does not cost extra.
Is it one subscription or a bill for each family member?
You pay per person Kinse calls. Essentials is $29 a month per person, with 150 call minutes a month, about 35 a week. Everyday is $44 a month per person, with 220 call minutes, about 50 a week. Family is $54 a month per person, with 280 call minutes, about 65 a week. One plan covers everyone you add. Minutes are shared, so whoever needs more calls can use more. Check-in calls and medication reminder calls use the same call minutes. A sibling you invite to read the summaries is not billed.
How do permissions work?
You choose access when you invite someone. Some people can change schedules and medications, some can change some things, and some can only read. Essentials includes up to 3 care-team invites, Everyday up to 5, and Family up to 10.
Who gets an alert when a call goes unanswered or a medicine is missed?
Members of the care team you invite. Not everyone by default. Everyone with access can still open the same summary. An alert is a follow-up, not help sent to the house.
Does your loved one need an app?
No. Kinse works with any phone, even a landline. Your loved one picks up. You use Kinse to set times and read the summary afterward. Save the number as Cora.
When do the calls start?
Kinse starts calling after you add their phone number, local time, and schedule, and choose a plan. Before that, you can hear a sample call, or talk with Cora yourself with a free account.
Can we start if not everyone has agreed yet?
Yes. One person can add the schedule. Invite the others when you are ready. Read-only access is enough for a sibling who just wants the summary.
Can the care team ask for help, not only view?
Yes. Ask for help, share an update, or hand off a task. It sits next to the short summary. It does not replace the call.
