Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to consumer health data about residents of Washington and Nevada, and about anyone whose consumer health data Kinse collects in Washington. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
"Consumer health data" means personal information that identifies a person's past, present, or future physical or mental health status.
Consumer health data we collect
- Medications: medication names, doses, instructions, and schedules, and whether each dose was taken, missed, refused, or unclear.
- Health conditions: conditions you choose to enter when you set up a person.
- Check-in calls: call summaries, medication answers, and observations from the conversation, such as mood, sleep, pain, eating and drinking, memory, falls, and daily activities.
- Patterns over time: how check-ins and medications have been going, built from the items above.
- Conversation memory: preferences and personal details mentioned on calls, so Cora can follow up on them.
- Appointments: provider name, provider phone, location, and notes you enter.
- Alerts: records of unanswered calls and of missed or refused medications.
We do not store call recordings or full transcripts.
Why we collect and use it
- To place check-in calls and medication reminder calls, and to write the summary after each call.
- To show summaries, patterns, and alerts to the account owner and the people they invite, or to assigned staff on an organization plan.
- To let Cora follow up on what was mentioned on earlier calls.
- To keep Kinse working, secure, and reliable, and to fix problems.
Where it comes from
- The account owner and the people they invite, when they enter information in Kinse.
- The person Kinse calls, during check-in calls and medication reminder calls.
- Staff of a care organization, on an organization plan.
Who we share it with
- People you choose: the account owner and the care-team members they invite, with the access the owner sets. On an organization plan, the staff assigned to the person.
- Service providers that process it for us: calling and voice, AI processing (language models and conversation memory), hosting and database, email and text messaging, and error monitoring. They may use it only to provide their service to Kinse.
- When the law requires it: for example, to respond to a valid legal request.
We do not share consumer health data with affiliates.
We do not sell consumer health data
Kinse does not sell consumer health data.
