Care cost planner

Type the quotes the family already collected. Compare month and year on this page.

The Kinse care cost planner is a worksheet for families. Type quotes you already collected for home care, adult day, assisted living, or a nursing home. The page totals month and year from what you typed. Kinse does not invent ZIP prices and does not issue a quote.

Limits

  • This page totals quotes you type. It is not a quote from Kinse.
  • Kinse does not invent ZIP prices, hourly rates, or community fees.
  • These are not Medicare or Medicaid prices.
  • Kinse check-in calls are not a line in this table. Essentials is $29 and Everyday is $39 per person who is called. See pricing.
  • Aides, alerts, and apps are not a stacked typical care number here. That table is retired.
  • Totals stay in this browser visit unless you print or download.

After your own quotes, regional medians live on CareScout Cost of Care. That is their table, not Kinse's.

Common questions

Does Kinse invent a price for my ZIP?
No. Type quotes the family already collected for home care, adult day, assisted living, or a nursing home. The page totals month and year from those numbers. Kinse does not look up a ZIP and fill in a price.
Is this a quote from Kinse?
No. Kinse does not sell home care, adult day, assisted living, or a nursing-home bed. This is a worksheet so you can compare quotes you already have side by side.
Are these Medicare prices?
No. Medicare and Medicaid fees do not appear here. Use the quote you were given by the agency or community. If that quote changes, type the new number. The page will not invent a government rate.
Where does Kinse's own price go?
Not in this table. Phone check-ins are $29 or $39 for each person Kinse calls. If you invite a sibling to read the notes, that invitation does not raise the price. See Pricing for the full plans.
Why isn't there a typical monthly stack?
A stacked typical care table mixes aides, alerts, and apps as if they were one bill. That is not this page. Compare the quotes in your hand. Kinse's own price stays off this table so it is not mixed into a home-care quote.
