Who issues the stars?
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, through Care Compare. Kinse does not rate facilities. Kinse does not change a star because a family uses phone check-ins. A five-star listing is CMS data, not a Kinse score.
Does a star include Kinse phone check-ins?
No. Stars are CMS quality measures. Kinse is not on that scale. Phone check-ins are a separate plan, priced for each person Kinse calls, on the Pricing page. A facility's stars do not go up or down because you add Kinse.
Is this the full Care Compare page?

Should I pick a facility from stars alone?
